Here’s a follow-up tips and tricks video on how to get into the Castle Armory without needing the Minutemen! No mods or console commands necessary…
UPDATE 1: Since posting this video, I went back to grab the schematics and it seems they can’t be taken without completing the “Old Guns” quest (or using console commands). My bad peeps. Wasn’t trying to clickbait anyone. Nevertheless, ALL the rest of the loot in the Armory can still be taken. You can even store the workbenches so you don’t have to use materials to build new ones. So it’s worth the effort, especially at lower levels! Won’t work on Survival mode though since you can’t fast travel outta there. 😉
