ASUS has officially launched the ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ASUS ROG Phone 6 Pro in India. The ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 were the much-awaited devices and come with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The devices will cater to buyers looking for high-performance suitable for gaming. The device also brings gaming-centric accessories including a controller as we reported earlier.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro also add cooling optimisation to facilitate high performance for a longer run without thermal throttling.
Talking about the specs of the phone the ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG 6 Pro comes with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The flagship phone pairs up the processor with up to 18GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. The ROG Phone 6 series sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel that supports a 165Hz refresh rate for gaming enthusiasts and up to 720Hz of touch sampling rate. Talking about the camera, both the phones pack a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor and 13MP wide-angle lens along with a 12MP front camera.
Under the hood, there will be a 5,850mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. At the back there will be a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary shooter and the system will support 5X optical zoom. The ROG Phone 6 is expected to be IPX4 certified as well. Not much is known about the ROG Phone 6 Pro at the moment.
