Even though the Vietnamese population in Dubai is small, the cuisine is beloved by many. Here are some of our favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Dubai that visitors must try.

This award-winning restaurant is one of the most popular in Dubai and the top one on our list. The dishes are authentic and beautiful to look at. The menu takes inspiration from Saigon and its culinary diversity. The founding chef and owner Lily Hoa Nguyen has spent years cooking in Istanbul, Paris, and Saigon and even offered cooking classes. Don’t be intimidated by the fancy presentation, as the price points are affordable. Vietnamese Foodies has  two locations in Dubai.

This restaurant is a must try for anyone who loves a quick meal and fusion dishes. Here you will eat the most authentic bánh mì in Dubai while also getting the opportunity to try its other street foods, such as loaded fries and sweet corn. It offers sandwiches using the classic ingredients: pickled carrots, daikon radish and cilantro. It also delivers healthy meal options right to your doorstep.

This cozy and quaint restaurant is perfect for a small gathering with friends or family. Its decor is inspired by Vietnamese culture and offers a calm ambience with the dark wood interior. Its 6-page menu hosts a variety of dishes prepared with fresh ingredients in  the traditional styles found in southeastern Vietnam. Saigon’s pho is comforting and a must-try.

Indochine

This NYC restaurant that branched out in Dubai opened in late 2019 and is the perfect location for a Friday night out. It brings a touch of New York’s glamor and luxe. Its New York branch is a favorite among celebrities, including Cindy Crawford and Anna Wintour. Indochine offers French-Vietnamese cuisine and can be best described as fashion meets fine dining.

Hanoi Naturally

This family-run restaurant, which opened in 2006, offers dishes that allow its  customers to experience a piece of Vietnamese culture. The decor with vibrants orange and green give it an energetic and urban feel while still retaining its coziness.  Its Hanoi special pho is famous among regulars. It is made with a combination of rice noodles, rare steak, beef balls, brisket, and herbs in a clear broth. The restaurant  is open everyday, always bustling with locals and tourists and is a true hidden gem in Dubai’s culinary world. It is also the perfect stop for anyone looking for vegan options.
